ABOUT IRIS DE VITA
Born and raised in the vibrant city of Queens, New York, with summers on Long Island, I was surrounded by a family deeply rooted in the arts—photographers, filmmakers, and artists. This early exposure ignited my passion for the entertainment industry, leading me to pursue a career in television and film.
Experience
Over the years, I’ve worked with a range of incredible companies, shows and organizations including ABC TV, Saturday Night Live (NBC), All My Children, American Movie Classics, WPLG-TV/10, Cinema Arts Centre and E2W Collective. These experiences gave me a strong foundation in both mainstream media and independent projects, and helped shape my path as a storyteller, publicist, and photographer.
Today, I run Golden Iris, where I combine my love for storytelling with my skills in publicity and photography. As a publicist, I work with small business owners, artists, filmmakers, and performers to amplify their voices and get their work seen. As a photographer, I specialize in events, parties, portraits, and capturing beautiful family moments—especially on the beach!
Whether I’m designing a PR campaign, snapping timeless photographs, or curating creative events, my goal is always the same: to help you shine in the most authentic and powerful way possible.
It’s Your Time to Shine!

Meaning Behind the Business Name
The name Golden Iris holds layered meaning—rooted in mythology, media, and personal history. Yes, Iris is my name, but it’s also inspired by Iris, the Greek goddess, a divine messenger who traveled with golden wings, delivering news and connecting people—much like what I do in my public relations work.
The name also plays on the “iris” of the eye—a perfect symbol for my work as a photographer, capturing emotion and story through a lens. In cameras and TV production, the iris controls the aperture and light, and back in college, my TV club friends nicknamed me “Auto Iris”—a playful nod that stuck with me.
And why Golden? It’s a tribute to the radiance of the goddess, but also to how I want my clients to feel: seen, valued, and golden—whether it’s through a beautifully framed photograph or standout press coverage.
Golden Iris represents vision, voice, and visibility across both of my creative worlds.
